As a general guide, you may wish to introduce the relevant nipple according to your child’s age and observe if the nipple flow is appropriate for him/her first and adjust accordingly.
If the following signs are observed, it may be an indication to progress to the next nipple flow:
i. Baby becomes fussy or irritated while drinking
ii. Takes longer than usual to finish drinking
iii. Falls asleep mid-feed
iv. Chews or tugs the teat
